simplicity
18 July 2010
Sometimes I just want something simple. Something plain. Something easy. Warm and cosy. No fuss, no worries.
:: yarn | Cascade 220 in Bainbridge, a delicious dirty shade of blacky-brown.
:: pattern | hybrid of two Stephanie Japel designs from Fitted Knits.
:: review | I managed to screw up the bust shaping so it’s uneven, but it’s not so visible that anyone but me can tell. The jumper is a little bit bulky around the middle because of the ribbing, but it makes a flattering fit. There’s also a little pouffiness under the arms (visible in the photo), which is kind of annoying, but probably inevitable for a top-down knit. Cascade 220 is my new favourite yarn, it is a delight to work with and wear.

Very nice.
And ‘of the moment’.
Question: where do you get Cascade 220 from? Online shop?
cheers
Jenny
