more smug bags
2 July 2007
My social life never rains but it pours. Nothing on for weeks then, invited to a housewarming (3-6pm in Manly), then leaving drinks (from 4pm in Newtown) and birthday lunch (Coogee beach, Sunday). Sigh. I do wish my friends would co-ordinate their events a little better, or at least make them happen in the same suburb.
These smug bags are for Ci & Si, the new home owners; Mz R, who is moving to Europe; and Mz J, to say thank you for the lovely beads.
Fabrics from Prints Charming; and Quiltsmith (Fleamarket Fancy by Denise Schmidt, and Forties Retro by someone whose name I don’t remember).
I made these ones so that they roll into their own little pocket. Each bag is made from 2 fat quarters (or for the Prints Charming ones, 2-and-a-half fat quarters because theirs are smaller than everyone else’s).
And I’m feeling quite smug that their new owners thought they were fab, and I have orders for 3 more from various party goers.
Oh, let’s have more pictures, why the hell not?
